The lockdown started spring break of sophomore year and because of that, we had to switch to online learning. It was simultaneously hard and easy. It was hard to pay attention to lectures when I’m in my room, bundled up in bed. However, I liked it, because I had the freedom to watch tv in between classes and I didn’t have to commit so much time. As a teacher, I will probably find a way to have students more engaged when doing class online
Open educational resources are learning resources that anyone can access and can use any time. They are also typically distributed online. One online resource that I found about OER is creativecommons.org. The blog post I’m reading is about how Creative Commons joined the Civil Society letter telling the U.S to be more open towards the uses of Ai.
Some skills I acquired from the two projects were using the recording feature and embedding the links to other slides in text. In assignment 4, I had to learn the first skill. It was really difficult to record and look at my notes, because I would sometimes accidentally move to the next slide. It got really annoying after a few times, because I always had to start over. On the other hand, working on the other project was very easy and I enjoyed every second of it.
