On the Florida Computer Science standards, there is a list of standards that each set of grades (ex. Grades 3-5) should be able to master, with the standards increasing by difficulty. One of the benchmarks for Grades 3-5 state that one should identify and use different technology tools for stuff such as data collection, writing and publishing information, and communication. Another one states that one should describe how it's important to collaborate when working on digital projects. I think that since I know how to do these things, I would be able to implement them and teach this to students in 3rd-5th grade. However, I feel like once I start doing it I would get better with time.

When I went on CPALMS, I selcted the toolkit for grade 4, because because the standards that I previously described can apply here. For subject, I chose Visual Arts and the benchmark that one should be able to integrate ideas to convey meaning when creating any form of art. This means being able to draw or sculpt something that isn't just a blob, but an animal or an object. If I were a teacher, I would use this website as a resource on inpiration for my lesson plans because I feel like the thing I would really need help on is coming up with a lesson plan that will help the students learn what they need to learn. I might not use the exact lesson plans all the time and I might switch a few things up here and ther to make it my own.

It is important to be a good Internet searcher as a teacher because they should use it to familiarize themselves with the material before teaching it. Out of all the skills I've learned this week, my favorite is the removing words technique because I've done this before. I've found that in the past, it has really helped narrowed down search results for me, so I can see myself using that technique in the future. There has been another technique that I've used that has been super helpful for me in the past and the one where you add words to narrow down the results.
