 For the majority of my life at school, I've used online applications, but the one I've used the most by far was Microsoft Word! All of my teachers from K12 up until now have made me use Word. So with time, I've gotten used to and comfortable with it. It's gotten to the point where if I had to choose what application I had to use for a writing assignment, I would use Word. With all the experience I've had with it, it's easy to maneuver. According to the ISTE standards for educators, there are different levels of learners and educators. They go from the least to most involved in the learning process. As this is my first time hearing about this, I have a ton of questions. The first question is that since we are taking an education course, would we read the section for learners or educators? Blog #1: All About Me

 Hey, I'm Haylie Savarese! I'm a second-year student at Florida State University, studying psychology and minoring in education. I'm taking this semester entirely online in my hometown, Jacksonville, FL. Other than that, I'm excited to be apart of EME 2040, and I can see this being a class that I would really enjoy! While I was not an "IPad kid" growing up, I used various forms of technology a lot for school, especially during the COVID19 pandemic. In highschool, I got really familiar with this platform called "schoology". While it was very similar to Canvas,I was so used to using it that I sometimes call Canvas "schoology" by mistake and people would get really confused. Because I used the computer a lot in school, I became familiar with Microsoft platforms such as Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and of course, Word.
